Here is the recipe for millet (‘mijo’) croquettes and we propose to accompany them with a quinori salad. We want to recover this cereal that has excellent nutritional values, and that can be very therapeutic for people who suffer from digestive problems.
Ingredients
- 230 gr. Millet in grain.
- 800 gr. of water
- Salt.
- 1 teaspoon of sunflower oil.
- 150 gr. Natural tofu.
- 1 medium onion cut into quarters.
- 2 cloves of garlic.
- 2 chives.
- 2 carrots.
- 25 gr. Extra virgin olive oil.
- Sweet paprika.
- Curry.
- Oregano.
- Ground pepper.
Instructions
- Put a bowl on the top of the glass and weigh in millet with the balance function. We wash it with water
Cold and we shed it in the basket. - Put water in the glass, a little salt and the sunflower oil. Insert the basket into the glass with the
millet washing and schedule 25 minutes, 100 °, speed 4. Extract the basket and reserve the millet in a large bowl. - Remove the glass of water and put tofu for programming trituration 4 seconds, speed 4.
Remove from the glass and reserve. - Without washing the glass, put the onion, garlic, green onion and carrot and schedule 3 seconds
Speed 5. With the spatula, lower the vegetables to the bottom of the glass. - Add the oil and we suffer by programming 7 minutes, temperature varoma, speed 1.
- Incorporate the reserved tofu and we season to taste with salt, pepper, curry, pepper and oregano.
Program 2 minutes, 100º, speed 2. - Pour the contents of the glass into the bowl with the millet and mix with the spatula. We croquettes of
about 75 gr. Brown them a little in the pan with oil and ready-to-serve.
